Discuss confirmation of the decommissioning of non-directional beacon (NDB) at Palestine Municipal Airport. .
John with Federal Aviation Administration Flight Inspection Office called on June 4, 2020. He stated via voicemail that a Crew was at the airport on 6/3/2020 to inspect the NDB, but it was found to be off. Crew was notified (no indication of who notified the crew) that it was being decommissioned, but there were no air men on location at that time to confirm. John made note of it and is awaiting confirmation.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Recommend establishing confirmation of NDB decommission at Palestine Municipal Airport.
