Recommended Action
Where reimbursement is otherwise authorized by statute, members of a legislative body may be reimbursed for actual and necessary expenses incurred in the performance of official duties, provided that (1) the local agency has adopted a written reimbursement policy specifying the types of expenses that may be incurred, (2) expense reports and receipts are submitted, and (3) the members give a brief report on meetings attended at public expense at the next regular meeting of the local agency. (Gov. Code, §§ 53232 et seq.) The following lists meetings attended by members of the Board of Supervisors since the posting of the last Board of Supervisors meeting agenda: District 1, Oscar Villegas None attended.
