SUBJECT MATTER:

Receive, consider and act upon a Grant Agreement with the Department of Public Safety (DPS) / Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM) for Federal Emergency Management Assistance (FEMA) public assistance grants (C-2018-0072);

Not applicable
BACKGROUND:
In order for the Township to receive reimbursement from FEMA for damages related to Hurricane Harvey, a state Grant Management System (GMS) account must first be established.  To activate the GMS account and disburse any obligated FEMA funds, the State of Texas requires completion of the attached Grant Terms and Conditions Agreement by and between The Woodlands Township and the Department of Public Safety (DPS) / Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM).  The agreement has been reviewed by the Township's attorney.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approve the Grant Terms and Conditions Agreement and authorize the President/General Manager to execute the agreement and any other grant-required documents.
