Receive, consider, and act upon granting an easement to Entergy Texas for Restricted Reserve “J,” Panther Creek Section 7(P-2018-0235);
There are no costs relative to the granting of the right-of-way easement.
Entergy Texas, Inc. has requested a Right-of-Way Instrument (easement) in order to replace existing underground lines that are located very heavily wooded areas buffering residential homes in the High Oaks neighborhood. The proposed 10-foot wide right-of-way will provide Entergy access for the equipment necessary to perform the project so as not to necessitate a large amount of tree removal. The size of the area subject to the instrument is .02 acres. The project consists of replacing about 1,200’ of direct buried cable wire off of S. Wavy Oak in the Village of Panther Creek. The entire cable replacement project will be bored and if approved in April, the project will be completed by summer. Legal counsel has completed a review of the right-of-way instrument easement and has found it to be acceptable (Attachment A).
Approve the right-of-way instrument with Entergy Texas, Inc. and authorize the President/General Manager the authority to execute the same.
