Adopt an ordinance entitled “An Ordinance of the Board of Supervisors of the County of Yolo, State of California, Allowing the Adoption of Future Supervisorial District Boundaries through Passage of a Resolution.” (No general fund impact) (Pogledich)

Recommended Action

Waive second reading, accept publlic comment and adopt an ordinance entitled “An Ordinance of the Board of Supervisors of the County of Yolo, State of California, Allowing the Adoption of Future Supervisorial District Boundaries through Passage of a Resolution”.

Reason for Recommended Action/Background

Counsel recommends the Board adopt the attached ordinance which will revise County Code to allow the Board to adopt supervisorial district boundaries by resolution pursuant to state law and clean up other sections of County Code related to redistricting (Att. A).
