Facilities - Approve a Special Event Permit to the City of Prescott for their Neighborhood Cleanup event on May 18, 2019. (District 1 - Supervisor Simmons)
Brief Explanation of Need
The permit will allow for the use of the parking lot at the County building at 500 S. Marina Street, Prescott, AZ, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 18, 2019, at no cost to the County. The City of Prescott has requested use of the parking lot for their Neighborhood Cleanup event. They will place four to six roll-off dumpsters in the parking lot and have staff on-site to facilitate residents bringing junk, trash and debris to deposit into the dumpsters. They expect up to 50 vehicles. The City will bring a sweeper in after the roll-off dumpsters have been collected and will ensure the parking lot is left in proper condition and all bins and city equipment is collected.
