SUMMARY:

Consider amending the Palestine Code of Ordinances as follows: amend Chapter 2, Administration by adding additional Boards and Commissions related to zoning and subdivision matters including detailed information regarding roles, responsibilities and duties as needed; amendments to Chapter 40, Development by removing zoning related regulations and naming it Chapter 40, Subdivision amend Appendix A – Zoning by removing the entire Appendix A and creating a new Chapter 39, Zoning by combining existing and adding new zoning and development regulations; amendments to the official Zoning Map for the City of Palestine to reflect the new Zoning Districts created in Chapter 39, Zoning.

RECOMMENDED ACTION:

Staff Recommends approval of proposed amendments to the Zoning Code of Ordinances.
