Notice is hereby given in accordance with Order of the Governor issued March 16, 2020, the Palestine City Council will conduct its meeting by telephone/video conference in order to advance the public health goal of limiting face-to-face meetings (also called "social distancing") to slow the spread of the COVID-19. There will be no public access to the location described above.

C.   CONSIDER A RESOLUTION CANVASSING RETURNS OF A SPECIAL ELECTION HELD FOR THE PURPOSE OF CHANGING ARTICLE XI, SECTION 11.9, TO ADD TWO ADDITIONAL STREET BLOCKS THAT ALLOW SALE OF ALCOHOL BEVERAGES; FOR AN ELECTION HAVING BEEN HELD ON NOVEMBER 3, 2020; DECLARING RESULTS OF THE ELECTION; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
