Anne Lorentzen, District Clerk
Reclassify a Senior Administrative Clerk position into a Senior Clerk position and reclassify a Court Clerk Attorney General Position into a Supervisor II position within the District Clerk's Office.
The Senior Administrative Clerk's position would best serve the District Clerk's Office by being reclassified into a Senior Clerk position and using the difference in pay to reclassify the Court Clerk Attorney General position into a Supervisor II. The position of Court Clerk Attorney General is assigned to a clerk who
four clerks who do all the e-filing, service, judgments and case closures for the Attorney General's Office and IV-D Court. The District Clerk's Office does not provide a court clerk to the IV-D Court as it provides court clerks to the District and County Courts. The employee in this position is responsible for
four clerks who handle the e-filing, service, court orders and case closures for the Attorney General's Office and the IV-D Court. However, neither the job description nor the pay reflect the actual job duties currently done by this employee. My other supervisors are classified as Supervisor II.
