Authorize making a finding for the method of procurement (request for qualifications) for engineering or architect services to review FEMA produced scopes of the damages sustained by Hurricane Harvey to County properties; authorize the Purchasing Agent to publish a notice; and adopt an order delegating evaluation authority to a selection committee.
Nueces County is seeking to contract with a state-registered Engineer or Architect firm for services to assist in developing the scopes of damages for Disaster Recovery and FEMA Public Assistance associated with damages on County properties sustained by Hurricane Harvey. These consulting services shall be performed in accordance with all applicable local, State, and Federal laws, regulations, executive orders, and FEMA requirements. FEMA site inspectors will conduct the initial scope of damages. The firm contracted with will review the scope from FEMA and provide additional information as necessary. Damages consist of roof, structural, electrical, water, waste water, road, and pier.
