RECOMMENDATION

Nueces County Airport Advisory Board; and possible approval of application process for the Nueces County Airport Advisory Board.

BACKGROUND

Antonio Arredondo was appointed to the Airport Advisory Board February 3, 2016 to fill a vacant position representing Commissioner Gonzalez, Precinct 2. Since Mr. Arredondo does not reside within the boundaries of that precinct, he is now asking to be appointed to the at-large position.
Robert Brunkenhofer has also submitted a letter requesting appointment.

DISCUSSION

Recommend making one appointment to fill an unexpired position created by the resignation of Cecil Johnson Jr. Should Mr. Arredondo be appointed to the at-large position, then the application process will be opened to fill the Precinct 2 position of the Board.
