RECOMMENDATION

Discuss and consider making a finding for the method of procurement (request of competitive bids); and authorize the purchasing agent to publish a notice for Hilltop Nature Park Enhancement, Phase 2.

BACKGROUND

Constructing approximately 1,500 linear feet of walking/jogging trail which includes site clearing, base material, prime coat, Hot Mix Asphalt Concrete (HMAC) pavement; and demolition of existing concrete sidewalk/structure.

DISCUSSION

The project will be paid from a Texas General Land Office grant. It is a Coastal Management Program Cycle 19 grant.
