The scope of the project includes storm water pollution prevention, construction of a fishing pier and loading pier, dredging, and ramp improvements. The Base Bid includes storm water pollution prevention: including all labor, excavation, fill, materials, equipment, and incidentals required to install and maintain. Base Bid also contains site preparation: including any clearing, grubbing, loading, hauling, disposal, stock piling, maintaining of stock pile, protection of utilities and private property, advance notification to utility companies, and agencies having jurisdiction, all in accordance with drawings/specifications.
This Bid also contains Additive Alternate Bids consisting of:
Additive Alternate No. 1: Fishing Pier (240 LF): to include all materials, labor, equipment, and incidentals; MEM Light Fixtures (9-each, Modern Epic Medium) to include poles, fixtures, and electrical; ORL Light Fixtures (4-each, Off Roadway Light), to include poles, fixtures, and electrical; RMA Light Fixtures (2-each, RMA Security Light), to include poles, fixtures, and electrical; and all electrical utility, to include conduits, boxes, wire, and all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals required in accordance with Drawings and Specifications, complete and in place.
Additive Alternate No. 2: Ramp Improvements: to include spoil removal, excavation, site fill, grading to drawing grades, concrete wall, concrete surface, concrete edging; RMA Light Fixtures (1-each, RMA Security Light), to include poles, fixtures, and electrical; and all electrical utility, to include poles, conduits, boxes, wire, and all labor, materials, equipment, maintenance and incidentals required in accordance with Drawings and Specifications, complete and in place.
Additive Alternate No. 3: Dredge Area: to include spoil removal, excavation, site fill, grading to drawing grades, labor, materials, equipment, maintenance and incidentals required in accordance with Drawings and Specifications, complete and in place.
Additive Alternate No. 4: Loading Pier: to include all materials, labor, equipment, and incidentals required in accordance with Drawings and Specifications, complete and in place.
This project is being funded by the General Land Office of the State of Texas (TxGLO) to provide for disaster recovery and restoration of infrastructure for communities impacted by the 2008 hurricanes and funded by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development through the Community Development Block Grant Program. |
