RECOMMENDATION

Approve a finding for the method of procurement (request for competitive bids) for Janitorial Service; and authorize the Purchasing Agent to publish a notice.

BACKGROUND

The contract is to furnish Nueces County with janitorial services for a term of twelve (12) months beginning upon execution of a contract, with an option to renew for four (4) additional one (1) year terms if mutually acceptable to the Contractor and Nueces County. The current term of the contract with ABM Janitorial Services - South Central, Inc. is due to expire on February 2, 2021.
