Public Comment Period  At 6:30 p.m., immediately preceding Call to Order, the Village Board of Trustees will hold a public comment period for the purpose of allowing the non-elected general public the opportunity to address the Board on any subject of concern that is not the topic of a current or previous Public Hearing before the Village Board. Each person who wishes to address the Village Board of Trustees may do so at the podium for a maximum of 3 minutes. The Board will only receive comments during Public Comment. The Public Comment portion of the meeting is scheduled for a total of 15 minutes in length but will end sooner if the Village President has determined that there is no one else present who still wishes to speak. After Public Comment has ended, there will be a short recess to begin broadcast of the Board of Trustees Meeting.

  Committee and Commission Reports:
6.   Plan Commission - Discussion and possible action on the following items:
a.   The request of the Village of Menomonee Falls to adopt an Ordinance amending the land use component of the Comprehensive Plan for for the lands generally located between Appleton Avenue and Mill Street, South of Garfield Drive, from the Mixed Use Land Use Classification to the Park / Open Space Land Use Classification.  The subject land is located in the Northwest 1/4 of Section 10 and identified by Tax Key Numbers 11.276, 11.277, 11.278, 11.280.012, 11.280.013, and 11.280.014.  At its meeting on April 3, 2018 the Plan Commission unanimously recommended this Ordinance be approved.
b.   The adoption of an Ordinance amending Sections 2, 622, 646, and 687 of Chapter 122 of the Municipal Code pertaining to the unenclosed storage of recreational vehicles.  On April 3, 2018 the Plan Commission recommended, with a vote of 5 to 2, that this Ordinance be approved.
7.   Utilities and Public Works Committee - Discussion and possible action on the following items:
a.   Award of Contract for the 2018 Asphalt Paving Program - Project No. 41208
b.   Award of Contract for the Cherokee Drive - Storm Sewer & Street Reconstruction Project, No. 41199
c.   Award of Contract for the Garfield Drive Reconstruction Project, No. 41198
8.   Announcements:
a.   Recognition of Village President Joseph Helm for his years of service to the Village of Menomonee Falls with commentary by Mr. Helm and others at the end of his term of office as Village President
9.   Adjournment
