Meeting called to order at 4:00 pm.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES
             
Approval of the minutes of the January 23, 2018 Architectural Control Board Meeting.
  Motion by Member Chris Rolenc, second by Member David Lehman to approve the minutes of the January 23, 2018 meeting subject to a correction of the minutes as submitted.
  Vote: 5 - 0 Motion Carried
             
APPEARANCES
             
Consideration of approval for exterior modifications to the commercial building owned by RAP APPLETON LLC and RMS MANAGEMENT LLC located at N79 W14756 Appleton Avenue, in the Northeast 1/4 of Section 14, Tax Key Number 53.966, in the C-1 Neighborhood Business District.

 
  Present:  Dan Beyer, Dan Beyer Architects
                225 E St. Paul Avenue, Suite 303, Milwaukee, WI 53202
  Motion by Member Chris Rolenc, second by Member David Lehman to make the following three findings:
  1. The site plan is architecturally functional.
  2. The exterior design proposed is not unsightly or obnoxious and is not disharmonious or so similar to existing neighboring developments that substantial depreciation of the neighboring property or development will be caused by the applicant's proposal.
  3. The applicant presented a site plan introduced as Exhibit A that shows drawings and locations of proposed fencing and a new light pole.


And  approve exterior modifications to the commercial building owned by RAP APPLETON LLC and RMS MANAGEMENT LLC located at N79 W14756 Appleton Avenue, in the Northeast 1/4 of Section 14, Tax Key Number 53.966, in the C-1 Neighborhood Business District.

Under discussion, the motion was amended by Member Chris Rolenc, second by Member David Lehman to amend the motion to include the following conditions:
  1. The new dormer on the south elevation shall have 5 1/2-inch corner boards that wrap each side and colors/materials shall match existing trim.
  2. The fencing and light pole proposed on Exhibit "A" shall match the types and colors of existing fencing and lighting on site. Additionally, the new light fixture and its color temperature shall match the existing light pole fixture and color temperature.
  Vote: 5 - 0 Motion Carried
             
Consideration of approval for exterior modifications to the COUSINS SUBS building owned by JOSEPH FERGUSON located at N79 W14751 Appleton Avenue, in the Northeast 1/4 of Section 14, Tax Key Number 53.027.003, in the C-1 Neighborhood Business Commercial District.
  No one appeared to speak to this item.
  Motion by Member Chris Rolenc, second by Chairperson Mike Manke to table the item.
  Vote: 5 - 0 Motion Carried
