Village President, Joseph Helm, called the meeting to order at 6:37 p.m.  The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.
Present:

CONSENT AGENDA
  Motion by Trustee Bonnie Lemmer, second by Trustee Jeremy Walz to approve the consent agenda items as listed:

Application for Successor of Agent for Su Casa Grande, LLC located at N84W15842 Appleton Avenue, Jessica Suarez, New Agent for the 2016-2017 Class B Fermented Malt Beverage and Liquor License.

PUBLIC HEARING
             
Public Hearing to consider the Plan Commission's recommendation regarding the request of P.J. Burbach to rezone lands currently owned by the School District of Menomonee Falls from the R-2 Single Family Residential District to the R-3 Single Family Residential District. The subject lands are located at the northwest corner of Daylily Drive and Northfield Drive and identified by Tax Key Number 95.999.009
Director of Community Development Carran presented on the public hearing topic.

Village President Helm opened the public hearing for comment. The following individuals spoke at the public hearing.

1.  Craig Lanza, N67W13390 Daylily Drive - asked about lot size for R-3 zoning.  He was concerned about multi-family. 
2.  Debbie Lanza, N67W13390 Daylily Drive - concerned about existing volume of traffic and speed of traffic in the area.  More homes would create additional traffic issues.
3.  Chad Hoffman, N130N6631 Daylily Drive - asked about ownership of the wooded area of the lot.  He would like a park to be developed in the wooded area.     

There was no one else who wished to speak. The public hearing was closed.

Action Item:

Request of P.J. Burbach to Adopt an Ordinance Rezoning Lands Located at the Northwest Corner of Daylily Drive and Northfield Drive
  Motion by Trustee Paul Tadda, second by Trustee Bonnie Lemmer to approve the request from P.J. Burbach to adopt an ordinance rezoning lands located at the northwest corner of Daylily Drive and Northfield Drive, from the R-2 Single Family Residential District to the R-3 Single Family Residential District, as recommended by the Plan Commission at the January 3, 2017, meeting.  The subject lands are currently owned by the School District of Menomonee Falls and identified by Tax Key Number 95.999.009.  (Ordinance No. 683-O-17)

Application for an Operator’s License for Andrew Oswald.
  Motion by Trustee Jeremy Walz, second by Trustee Bonnie Lemmer to deny the application for an operator’s license for Andrew Oswald on the grounds of being a habitual law offender and based on the applicant's conviction record for violations that substantially relate to the licensed activity and for failing to disclose information on his application.
  Vote: 7 - 0 Motion Carried

Application for an Operator’s License for Jacob Talaska.
  Motion by Trustee Jeremy Walz, second by Trustee Bonnie Lemmer to approve the issuance of an operator’s license for Jacob Talaska subject to the payment of unpaid forfeitures and the condition that there be no additional criminal or ordinance convictions during the licensing period.  The Police Department shall review the applicant's record every six months during the licensing period to determine compliance with this condition.

  Motion by Trustee Chris Smolik, second by Trustee Katie Kress to approve a resolution rescinding Resolution No. 622-R-06 and re-establishing parking restrictions for Tours Dr/Town Hall Rd. (Resolution No. 1145-R-17)
