The total cost for this contract will be $83,000.00 and Knox County's share of $49,800.00 is currently in the Engineering and Public Works budget for FY 2018-2019.

RLA-8565   Consideration of a Resolution of the Commission of Knox County, Tennessee, amending the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) percentage for reimbursement the Kimberlin Heights Bridge Replacement from 98% TDOT 2% Knox County to 78/% TDOT 22% Knox County.  The amounts paid by TDOT are $419,802.80 and $121,043.62 paid by Knox County for a total project cost of $540,846.42.

These funds will provide a hazmat simulation training system to be used in a joint training program by Knoxville Fire Department and Rural Metro Fire Department. The grant requires a match of $2,519.40 which will be paid by Rural Metro Fire Department and Knoxville Fire Department.

RLA-8558   Consideration of a Resolution of the Commission of Knox County, Tennessee, approving a continuing Tennessee State Grant for the Knox Recovery Court and Knox County Veterans Treatment Court.  The grant provides approximately 85% of the operational funds for the Program.  Additionally, the other 15% is generated through fees.  No local match is required. The Knox Recovery Court and Knox County Veterans Treatment Court, is a State Certified Recovery Court Program recognized by the Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services.

43. RLA-8476   Consideration of a Resolution of the Commission of Knox County, Tennessee, approving a Memorandum of Understanding between Knox County Juvenile Court and Helen Ross McNabb. This Memorandum of Understanding will support the Juvenile Court's Babies Court (SBC) grant. This grant will increase services to Knox County families with children age 0-3, with the emphasis on enhancing infant mental health which has been proved to be very critical to their future development.
