Purpose and Background
The applicant, HMOFFIS, LLC, is requesting approval to rezone from R-2 (Residence District) to PI (Planned Industrial) for 5.2646 acres located at 4359 Taylorsville Road, also known as part of Parcel ID Number P70 04009 0075 of the Montgomery County Auditor's Tax Records (ZC 18-09).  The applicant is requesting to rezone the property so the existing business can remain at the site.

After the public hearing on ZC 18-09 at the May 14, 2018 City Council Meeting, City Council requested that the ordinance be amended by City Staff with certain conditions and modified to be emergency legislation.  The proposed and amended ordinance has been provided to City Council for consideration of adoption at the second reading of the legislation at the June 11, 2018 City Council Meeting (see attached).
