Item Title:    GP&L McCree Substation Phase II Upgrade for Autotransformer Addition

Purchase Justification:
This request is to provide professional engineering services for the addition of an autotrans-
former at the GP&L McCree Substation.  This addition will require upgrades to the Substation including reconfiguration of the Crist, Shiloh, and Centerville transmission lines to terminate at new A-frame structures within the Substation.  Services for this Phase II upgrade include design engineering to support the re-termination of the Shiloh and Centerville transmission lines, conversion of the ring bus to the breaker and a half scheme, installation of a new 600 MVA autotransformer, and installation of a new control house.  This is part of the approved McCree Substation Autotransformer CIP project.

Black & Veatch was selected as the Most Qualified firm for this project from the short list of Engineers evaluated and ranked in RFQ 5771-15.
