Ordinance 17-034 - Zoning Atlas Map Amendment - 3530 S. US Hwy 1
Quasi-Judicial Hearing (Waived) - Ordinance 17-034 Amending the Zoning Atlas of the City of Fort Pierce to rezone property located at 3530 S. US Hwy 1 from Planned Development (PD) to General Commercial Zone (C-3) SECOND READING
The applicant is requesting the approval of a Zoning Atlas Amendment (Rezoning), for 4.04 acres of property. Currently the property is zoned PD, Planned Development and the applicant would like the rezone the property to C-3, General Commercial.
The rezoning to C-3, General Commercial would make the property compatible with its Future Land-Use of GC, General Commercial and compatible with surrounding parcels along the US 1 corridor.
A total of 20 notifications of the proposal were mailed to the owners of property located within 500 feet of the subject property. As of October 24, 2017, 0 responses have been received. An update will be provided to the City Commission at the public hearing.
The Planning Board, at their October 10, 2017 meeting, voted unanimously to recommend approval of the request.
