Demolition Hearing - 1311 Avenue E
Resolution No. 20-R47 and Quasi-Judicial Hearing – A hearing to allow the owners and/or parties of interest in the property identified as 1311 Avenue E to show cause why the structure located on the premises should not be condemned and demolished.
Original condemnation of both structures (1311 Ave E & 526 N 14th Street) approved by the City Commission in 2000.
In 2002 - Building #2 - AKA "526 N 14th St" was repaired sufficiently for occupancy.
In 2012 - Builidng #1 - AKA "1311 Ave E" was demolished by the City of Fort Pierce.
In 2019 - Due to complaints from neighbors, Building #2 - AKA "526 N 14th St" was boarded by the City of Fort Pierce.
Multiple Lot Clearing cases have been initiated and complied by a City vendor.
Staff recommends the City Commission approve Resolution No. 20-R47 declaring that the structure located at 1311 Avenue E be condemned and demolished in accordance with the Rules of Procedure for Condemnation and Demolition as adopted by the City Commission.
