RECOMMENDATION:
Approve Resolution R20-11-24 accepting the canvass of election for the November 3, 2020 General Election and declaring of record the Final Official Results regarding ratification of the 2020 General Plan Update.
PROPOSED MOTION:
I move to approve Resolution R20-11-24 accepting the canvass and declaring of record the Final Official Results of the November 3, 2020 General Election as presented.
BACKGROUND:
State Law requires canvassing not less than 6 days and not more than 20 day after the election; Monday, November 23, 2020 is 20 days following the election.  Final Official Results were received from Maricopa County November 18, 2020; Maricopa County Board of Supervisors to canvass on Friday, November 20, 2020.  This meeting is meant to be a phone meeting for the sole purpose of canvassing the election results.
