RECOMMENDATION:

Authorize the City Manager to amend the Professional Services Contract with Michael Baker International for the completion of the revisions to the El Mirage Title XV: Zoning Code; Land Usage Volume 2 (Chapters 150 through 155) in an amount not to exceed $45,056.

PROPOSED MOTION:

I move to approve amending the Professional Services Contract with Michael Baker International as presented.

BACKGROUND:

On September 6, 2019, Council authorized the City Manager to execute a Professional Services Contract with Michael Baker International (MBI) to perform an assessment of the El Mirage Zoning Code. On January 7, 2020, Council authorized Amendment No. 1 to the contract to expedite the Rural Area (RA) Zoning District (Dysart Ranchettes) assignment and Zoning Code Update. Amendment No. 2 is for continued planning services in response to the original contract of the zoning assessment by updating the El Mirage Title XV: Zoning Code; Land Usage Volume 2 (Chapters 150 through 155).
