2018 PRIORITY GOALS:

2. continue to work on membership diversity to meet demographic requirements outlined in the bylaws; and
3. continue to support the advocacy efforts of the Texas Silver-Haired Legislature and the Bexar County delegation election process.
The 2018 schedule for presentation speakers was discussed. All slots for 2018 have been filled.
A member and alternate member nomination was reviewed, as submitted from the Bexar County Sheriff's Office at the request of Sheriff Salazar following the January BSAC retreat.
Paula Wanken provided an update on additional seats being made available to the Bexar County Texas Silver Haired Legislature (TSHL) delegation. Membership is down Statewide, and in an effort to have more representation, the Executive Leadership has allowed those regions who are already at capacity, to recruit additional members.
