ALA Planning Network Advisory Committee
AGENDA ITEM DESCRIPTION:
Presentation and discussion on nominations for 2018-2019 IDD Services Advisory Committee Officers from among current advisory committee members.
The IDD Services Planning and Network Advisory Committee bylaws require that the advisory committee elect officers consisting of a Chairperson and Vice Chairperson from its membership by a majority vote. The Chair and Vice-Chair will serve for two years unless the majority of the committee requests an election.
The current advisory committee officers are as follows:
Chair - Irma Canfield, elected December 9, 2014.
Vice Chair - Mary Hanlon-Hillis, elected December 9, 2014.
The current advisory committee Parliamentarian:
In order to align advisory committee officer terms with the Local IDD Authority performance contract period, staff recommends that the term for newly elected officers occur from March 2018 - June 2019. Action upon nominations for 2020-2021 biennium Officers would occur at the June 2019 advisory committee meeting for new two-year terms beginning September 2019.
