AGENDA ITEM: Presentation and Possible Discussion Regarding an Update Regarding the Seventy-Seven (77) Acre "Forepaugh" Property - Tim Suan, Deputy Town Manager BACKGROUND INFORMATION: In 2016, the Town of Wickenburg competitively sold seventy-seven (77) acres of real property commonly known as the Forepaugh property with stipulations for development to the Wickenburg Regional Economic Development Partnership (WREDP).  The stipulations were not met and the Town entered into a series of negotiations to resolve the issues. A solution was through a sales agreement of the Forepaugh property between WREDP and West Wickenburg LLC. The sale was successfully completed in late December 2021 and included a payment to the Town of Wickenburg for the property. The Forepaugh property is a multi-parcel property located in unincorporated Maricopa County approximately ten (10) miles west of the Wickenburg town limits.  Payment has been fully made for the purchase and close of escrow is now complete. This update was requested by Council Member Bedoian and seconded by Council Member Band at the December 20, 2021 meeting. SUGGESTED MOTION: Update Only, No action required.
