Public Hearing on an Interim Permit and Owner Transfer of a Liquor License Application, Series #9 for Bashas' #55, 275 North Tegner Street, Applicant Michael Joseph Basha and Consider Action forwarding a Recommendation to the Arizona Department of Liquor Licenses and Control - Amy Brown, Town Clerk
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
Michael Joseph Basha has applied for an Interim Permit and Owner Transfer of their liquor license, Series #9, for Bashas' #55, located at 275 North Tegner Street. The new owner of the license will be Raley's Arizona LLC.
The Liquor Store License (series 9) liquor license means authorization issued to an off-sale retailer to sell:
Spirituous liquors in an original, unopened, container for consumption off the licensed premises; and
Beer in a clean glass container that is sealed and labeled as described in A.R.S. § 4-244(32).
As required by ARS 4-201, the liquor license application was posted for twenty days to allow for public comments. The Town Clerk’s office did not receive any comments on the application. The Police and Community Development & Neighborhood Services departments have reviewed the application with no concerns. The application is attached for Council's review.

I move to forward a recommendation to the Arizona Department of Liquor License and Control to approve the Interim Permit and Owner Transfer of a Liquor License Application, Series #9 for Bashas' #55 located at 275 North Tegner Street.
