Receive, consider and act upon a conveyance of a temporary pathway easement;
FISCAL IMPACT:
Base annual pathway maintenance expense is minimal and included in the Township's 2016 Town Center Operations Budget.
BACKGROUND:
The Woodlands Land Development Company (TWLDC) has submitted a Temporary Pathway Easement that will provide public access to / from the Waterway and the East Shore area to the Town Center and community pathway system. The easement replaces previous temporary pathway easement in this area (Attachment A) that has been removed due to new residential development occurring in East Shore. The proposed pathway easement (Attachment B) would include a set of stairs to provide the desired public access and is set to expire on December 31, 2017, at which time the development of the permanent pathway is anticipated to be completed and conveyed to the Township.
RECOMMENDATION:
Accept the temporary pathway easement to provide public access.
