|In July of 2013, the Board of Directors adopted the Special Event Policy and Procedures which stipulates Board approval is required for special event permits for certain types of events that may have an impact to the community and surrounding neighborhoods.

Date: Friday, March 20, 2015 and Saturday, March 21, 2015(event day). Other events happening or pending within the community: March 21 CF Walk (Rob Fleming Park – currently waiting on completed application)
Description: 100/80/60/20-mile all women’s non-competitive bike rides
Location: Various pathways and roads through Precinct 1, Precinct 2, Precinct 3 in Montgomery County – event begins and ends at Northshore Park
Number of years: 1st year
Area Impacted: Lake Woodlands Dr, Panther Creek Dr, N Mill Trace Dr, Shadowbend, Research Forest, Woodlands Pkwy, Branch Crossing, Flintridge Dr, Gosling
Time: 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on 3/20 and 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on 3/21
Anticipated Attendance: 1,500
Traffic Control Plan: Pending approval from Precinct 1. Precinct 2 has approved and Precinct 3 pending approval of Traffic Control Plan. As the event is not a timed event and requires participants to follow the "rules of the road", there will be no road or lane closures.
