SUBJECT MATTER:
Receive, consider and act upon approval of an interlocal agreement with Montgomery County for funding of joint transportation projects;
FISCAL IMPACT:
To be determined.
BACKGROUND:
Attached is a copy of the Interlocal Agreement with Montgomery County for the funding and construction of signal and intersection improvements. The only variation from the term sheet previously approved by the Board is the individual signal improvement cost. This projected cost per signal increased from $25,000 to $40,000. The new number is based on a projection provided by the County Engineer. However, the Township’s total financial commitment to this project will remain the same/just fewer signal improvements.

This document was prepared by Mike Page and has been review and approved by Precinct 3. The document still has to be reviewed by the County Attorney and approved by Commissioners Court.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approve the Interlocal Agreement with Montgomery County as attached and authorize President/General Manager to execute said agreement.
