Receive, consider and act upon the conveyance of Creekside Park Section 33, ROSR B - Rockwell Park;
Base annual maintenance cost for Rockwell Park is estimated to be $919.08 which will be added to the master agreement with Bio Landscape, Inc. Construction cost for the park was approximately $525,000 and was shared with The Woodlands Land Development Company (TWLDC) and The Woodlands Township- 50%-50% per the terms of the Recreation Facilties Development Agreement.
The Woodlands Land Development Company has submitted Creekside Park Section 33- ROSR B- Rockwell Park for conveyance(Attachment A) . This park is located in the Village of Creekside Park, New Harmory area, is 1.306 acres and contains the standard neighborhood park amentity package (playground and shelter). This is the 129th park in the community’s park system. The park has been inspected and a pre-conveyance report has been provided to TWLDC ( Attachment B). No major issues were reported; however it is recommended that construction and tree debris that are present be removed, pahtway stop signs and safety stenciling be installed and minor punch list items and landscaping be completed as a condition of conveyance. Legal counsel has completed a review of the Special Warranty Deed and has found it to be acceptable.
Upon the completion of the issues identified in the pre-convyance inspection report as presented, accept the conveyance by Special Warranty Deed from The Woodlands Land Development Company, L.P. for Creekside Park Section 33, ROSR B - Rockwell Park.
