SUBJECT MATTER:
Receive, consider and act upon a resolution regarding the President/General Manager's authorization limits for commitments and agreements;

BACKGROUND:
The Board of Directors requested that current resolutions regarding commitment and signature authorities be amended to provide The Woodlands Township President/General Manager with broader authority to execute contractual agreements and approve expenditures for items that are included in the annual budget adopted by the Board. Legal counsel is preparing a Board resolution to address this matter and will present it at the Board meeting on July 23, 2014. A copy of the draft resolution will be distributed to Board prior to the meeting.
RECOMMENDATION:
Board to determine action.
