Public Hearing to Consider a Request from the Meadows Behavioral Healthcare for an Amendment to an Existing Conditional Use Permit on Parcel 505-02-007D and 505-02-007C or 1655 Tegner Street to Allow for an Expansion of a 17,500 Square Foot Facility on the Property, the Proposed Facility will be Consistent with the General Land Use of the Property which is Behavior Health Treatment
The Meadows Behavior Healthcare facility located at Rincon and Tegner Street is requesting to construct a new 17,500 square foot building to accommodate additional residential patient care. The project will allow for 28 additional patient beds along with various office space, conference rooms, dining areas, a physical fitness gym and various related services throughout the center.  The facility is proposed to be a two-story building with site improvements such as drainage and landscaping.  Due to the nature of the request, the Meadows is required to obtain an amended Use Permit since they have an existing one that does not include this new use.  With this expansion the overall property will be close to build-out, and future expansion, without redevelopment, will be limited.  
I move to approve the amended conditional use permit for The Meadow Facility Located at 1655 North Tegner Street.
