Consider Resolution 2091, Approving and Authorizing the Mayor to Execute a Special Event Contract for Awesome Fest on October 31, 2017, and Authorizing the Donation of Town Services in the Amount Estimated at $1,278.11 - Amy Brown, Town Clerk
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
First Southern Baptist Church, First Presbyterian Church, The Place Church, Calvary Baptist Church and Community Alliance Church are putting on the Halloween festival for the community again this year.  Last year they changed the name and location to Awesome Fest at Coffinger Park.  This provides a safer location for the kids as they are not crossing Wickenburg Way to go from the Harvest Festival to Oxbow.  They have requested a waiver of the fees as this is a free community event.  They did not meet the required 60 day deadline as they didn't turn in the Special Event Permit or request a waiver until September 26.

SUGGESTED MOTION:
I move to approve Resolution 2091, approving and authorizing the Mayor to execute a Special Event Contract for Awesome Fest on October 31, 2017, and authorizing the donation of Town services in the amount estimated at $1,278.11.
