ACTION REQUESTED:

ITB 22-004 Janitorial Supplies - Consider approval of Award Recommendation for ITB-22-004 Janitorial Supplies and authorization for the City Manager to enter into contract negotiations with a pool of four (4) suppliers for a Multi-Source Award. The suppliers recommended are Starr Janitorial of Roswell, NM, Staples of Aurora, CO, Spectrum Paper Co of El Paso, TX, and LD Supply of Albuquerque, NM. (Foster/Moore)

BACKGROUND:

Initiated by: Frank Moore

The ITB was posted and ten (10) bids were received on July 06, 2021. Six (6) bids were deemed non-responsive to the bid requirements. Four (4) bids were responsive and are recommended for Award.

FINANCIAL CONSIDERATION

None at this time.

LEGAL REVIEW:

None at this time.

BOARD AND COMMITTEE ACTION:

The General Services Committee recommended (3-0) approval at their meeting on July 28, 2021.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION:
