ACTION REQUESTED:
Planning and Zoning Case 21-004 FPLAT Bella Pizza Unit 2 Subdivision Final Plat - Consider approval of the Bella Pizza Unit 2 Subdivision Final Plat for a 20-lot single-family residential subdivision in the R-4 Residential Zoning District (Planning and Zoning Case 21-004 FPLAT). (Stubbs/Hildreth)
BACKGROUND:
Initiated by: Merideth Hildreth
 
Ordinance 15-10, City of Roswell Subdivision Code Article 4 Section 3(B)(6) states, “The City Council shall act to approve or disapprove the application for final plat approval within thirty-five (35) days from the date of the final submission of the plat.” The Planning & Zoning Commission held a public hearing on February 23, 2021 to review the Final Plat (Zoning Case 21-004 FPLAT). The Commission has forwarded the Final Plat with a recommendation of approval to City Council.
 
The applicant’s intent is to create a 20-lot single-family residential subdivision on the 8.668-acre tract located on the west side of North Union Avenue “Un-Tana” and south of Country Club Road.
FINANCIAL CONSIDERATION
There are no costs associated with this subdivision.
LEGAL REVIEW:
There is no legal review at this time.
BOARD AND COMMITTEE ACTION:
The Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval (6-0) of Zoning Case 21-004 FPLAT at their meeting on Tuesday, February 23, 2021.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION:
Recommendation of approval of Bella Piazza Unit 2 Subdivison Final Plat for a major subdivision to create 20 single-family residential lots for development (P&Z Case 21-004 FPLAT).
