ACTION REQUESTED:

Resolution 19-28 - Consider adopting Resolution 19-28 a Resolution in Support of the Unborn (Sanchez/Neeb)

BACKGROUND:

Several Bills currently being considered by the Legislature would diminish or otherwise affect regulations on limitations on abortion. The proposed Resolution would express the City’s opposition to any efforts, including efforts that would deny healthcare providers the opportunity to object on moral grounds.

FINANCIAL CONSIDERATION

None.

LEGAL REVIEW:

The City Attorney has reviewed Resolution 19-28.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION:
