Resolution 19-25 - Consider approval of Resolution 19-25 adopting and approving a new fund for Intergovernmental Grants previously reported in the General Fund. (Garcia/Grant).
Department of Finance (DFA) is requiring municipalities to exclude intergovernmental grants that have restricted uses as part of the General Fund. The grants must be recorded in a separate fund. This is a housekeeping item to align with DFA’s rules and regulations
BOARD AND COMMITTEE ACTION:
The Finance Committee recommended approval (4-0) at their meeting on March 7,2019.
