LEGISLATION - FIRST READING:
____Reso. strongly urging the Ohio Governor and members of the Ohio General Assembly to invest the state budget surplus in municipalities.
____Reso recognizing, celebrating and designating Sept. 15, 2018 through Oct. 15, 2018 as National Hispanic Heritage Month in the City of Lorain, Ohio.
____Reso authorizing the Safety/Service Director to apply for, accept, and enter into a contract on behalf of the City for the construction of the Planned Active Transportation Plan/Transportation for Livable Communities.
___Ord. authorizing the City of Lorain to enter into a Community Reinvestment Area Tax Abatement Agreement w/Jovic LLC.
____Ord. amending Ord. No. 94-18, which establishes Chapter 1507, Section 1507.01 (o) to allow for the wavier of permit fees for certain organizations of up to $500.
____Ord. authorizing the Safety/Service Director to enter into an agrmt. to amend the contract w/Terminal Ready Mix for the Lake Erie Outfall Project.

Chairperson Springowski has scheduled a Building/Lands & All Council committee meeting for Monday, September 10th to begin at 5:30 to review and hear a presentation from OHM Consultants on the Comprehensive Land Use Plan.
