a.   Mayor Bradley's transmittal of OH EPA correspondence regarding the revoking of the March 31st Order to Public Water Systems in Ohio, effective July 10, 2020, on water shut-offs. b.   Mayor Bradley's transmittal of correspondence from OH Dept. of Health regarding recommendations for improving building ventilation systems and Dayton's ordinance requiring face coverings in any public space to limit the spread of COVID-19 for review and discussion. Click to View

a.   Email correspondence from Rick Ramirez, 622 W. 23rd St. Lorain, regarding the decline of maintenance in the city parks over the years. He urges check and balances be put in place to provide a safe and fun place for the children to play. Click to View

Correspondence and draft resolution from Joshua Garcia requesting the City of Lorain consider recognizing June as LGBTQ Pride Month in the City of Lorain.

8.   PUBLIC COMMENTS:  (The sign-in sheet will be collected prior to commencement of the meeting)  The two (2) minute per person limit and twenty (20) minute max will be observed.   Due to the guidelines issued in the April 20, 2020, order, the Lorain City Council meetings will remain closed to the public until further notice.  Correspondence submitted to the Clerk by 4:30 on July 6th, will be read into the record in accordance with the 2 minute limit.

a.   ____Reso. accepting the donation of funds ($2,414.70) from the National Council of Negro Women and Main Street Lorain for the purchase of self-watering planters to be placed along Broadway. Click to View

*Several Public Hearings have been scheduled for Monday, July 13, 2020 @ 5 p.m. in the Council Chamber and are as follows:
ZCA-3-2020 - rezone PPN 02-03-007-000-237, 02-03-006-103-020 and 05-00-001-000-298 from R-1A to R-PUD, T. Oster is the applicant.
ZCA-4-2020 - rezone PPN 02-03-006-103-019 Oak Point Rd. from R-1A to R-PUD, T. Oster is the applicant.
ZCA-5-2020 - rezone 3725 Grove (aka 2239 Homewood) from I-1 Light Industrial to B-2 General Business, Drew Crawford BHP is applicant.
