a.   Submission of the 2018 Annual Report for the Department of Public Properties.
b.   Submission of the 2018 Annual Report for Lorain City Council. 
c.   Correspondence from Law Director Riley regarding Liquid Aluminum Sulfate AntiTrust Litigation, informing council that a partial settlement has been reached. 
6.   CORRESPONDENCE FROM OTHER GOVERNMENTAL AGENCIES:
a.   Correspondence from the Ohio Division of Liquor Control advising of a D4 transfer permit from Westlake Yachting Club at 485 California Avenue, 1st Floor, Storeroom & Patio to Westlake Yachting Club, 1st Floor, Storeroom & Patio at 108 Alabama Avenue, Lorain, OH 44052
b.   Lorain County Board of Elections transmittal of the ballot language that will appear on May 7, 2019 primary election ballot pertaining to the municipal income tax renewal of 1/4 of 1% on income for general operating funds and equipment for a five year period.

a.   Correspondence from Charter Communications dated 2/13/2019 submitting the second quarter franchise fees totaling $166,640.35, deposited with the City's Treasurer.

9.   LEGISLATION - FIRST READING:
a.   ____Ord. accepting a Law Enforcement Body Armor grant from the Ohio Atty. General for $27,711 to purchase 15 Tactical vests for the SWAT team.
b.   ____Ord. authorizing the City of Lorain to enter into a MOU w/FOP Lorain City Corrections Officers to change the effective date of insurance contributions per CBA Article 22. 
c.   ____Ord. authorizing the S/S Dir. to advertise for an RFP and enter into a contract  for EMS Services for the City of Lorain. 
d.   ____Ord. assessing the cost to abate nuisances by cutting noxious weeds during the current calendar year. 
e.   ____Ord. modifying Ord. 28-94 for the purpose of opening up Nantucket Drive to thru traffic and interconnecting Williamsburg Heights Sub-division and St. James Reserve Sub-division.
f.   ____Ord. amending Ord. 176-18 by increasing funding needed for design-build services for the new fire station. 
g.   ____Ord. authorizing the Safety/Service Director to  modify an agreement with highest ranked engineering firm for professional services related to the construction of new water lines in West Lorain. 
h.   ____Ord. authorizing the Auditor to pay invoices submitted by the Parks Department that invoke the Then & Now certification exception process ($3,966).
i.   ____Ord. authorizing the City of Lorain to enter into a Community Reinvestment Area Tax Abatement Agreement with SNG Properties Ltd.  
j.   ____ Ord auth S/S Director to enter into real estate purchase agreement & escrow instructions between Walter A. Frey Funeral Home & Walter Frey, Jr. 
k.   ____Appropriation (Judges)
l.   ____Ord. amending Ord. No. 47-18, Sections 15.3.5 - Judges, Section 15.3.6 - Law Dept., Section 15.3.7 - Mayor/Safety Service by adding classifications and positions all necessary for the housing court expansion project. 
m.   ____Ord. amending Ord. No. 97-14, Article XI, Rules & Regulations for the Reorganized Lorain Police Auxiliary Unit.

12.   COMMITTEE CALLS:   A public hearing has been scheduled for Monday, March 18, 2019 @ 5:30 p.m. to discuss the proposed amendments to Cod. Ord. Sections 1165.04 and 1167.03 and "definition" of mini storage facilities in B-2 & B-3 Districts as Conditional Uses.

• Pay outstanding tax balance(s) and interest in full without penalties
• Pay outstanding penalties only balance(s) at a reduced amount
