a.    A request by the Lorain Utilities Department for approval of a purchase order in the amount of $33,450.00 for lateral lining.  GL#6130.P613.6460.6700.1500

b.   A request from the Department of Public Property, Parks Division, for removal and replacement of the existing roof on the Lakeview Park South concession/restroom building by Homestead Exterior Solutions for an amount not to exceed $12,750.00.  An additional quote was received from 5K Commercial Roofing, LLC.  A third request to West Roofing received no response.

c.   The Building, Housing and Planning Department requests approval to open two purchase orders for $80,000/each to Erie County Health Department. This is the funding for the 2019 and 2020 CDBG match as part of an entire grant that covers Erie County, Lorain County (City of Lorain and Elyria). This was approved by Council on June 6, 2017, Resolution 23-17. The funding for the match project will come from CDBG – Lead-Based Paint/Lead Hazard Testing/Abatement.

d.   The Building, Housing and Planning Department requests approval to purchase 4 laptops and 4 computers for $14,065.69 for the Utilities Department. This will be paid for out of the State CARES Act Funding.

A request from the Engineering Department to purchase a concrete beam breaking machine.

The Building, Housing and Planning Department requests to enter into an agreement with the Lorain County Chamber of Commerce in the amount of $24,000 to assist with intake and application reviews for the Small Business Stabilization Program. Funds will be paid for out of 2020 CDBG-CV Public Service dollars.

g.   A request from the Deaprtment of Public Property, Streets Divisiion to purchase sign making hardware and supplies from Osburn Associates for an amount not to exceed $17,677.09.  Osburn is the  vendor able to provide all materials and hardware specific to our needs.

h.   The Building, Housing and Planning Department requests approval to award Broadway Mary’s with $10,000 in relief funds due to loss of income and expenses incurred from COVID-19. Funds will be paid for out of State CARES Act Funding.
