SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS- Mayor Bradley and Councilmember Rey Carrion will present Jorge Villegas with an official proclamation declaring November 2, 2020, as "JORGE LUIS VILLEGAS JR." day in the City of Lorain Ohio.

Mayor Bradley will swear in and administer the Oath to Officers MARK TOMLIN (promoted to the rank of Sergeant); Sergeant AJ MATTHEWSON (promoted to the rank of Lieutenant); and Lt. LES PALMER (promoted to  the rank of Captain).

13.   COMMITTEE CALLS: 
     A council work session will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 4th @ 5:30 p.m. to continue discussion of the new Planning & Zoning Code. 
     On Monday, Nov. 9th a work session will be held to hear several presentations followed by discussion of the Redhill Pressure district construction and review and update on all capital improvement projects in utilities. 
    Two Public Hearings have been scheduled for Monday, Nov. 23 @ 5:30 p.m. to discuss applic. rezone 141 E. Erie from B-2 to R-2 and also the new Plan & Zone Code. 
14.   MISCELLANEOUS CONCERNS FROM COUNCIL:

  "AN EXECUTIVE SESSION, BY PROPER MOTION, WILL BE HELD IN ACCORDANCE WITH ORC 121.22 G (3) TO CONFERENCE WITH THE PUBLIC BODY'S ATTORNEY REGARDING DISPUTES THAT ARE THE SUBJECT OF PENDING AND/OR IMMINENT COURT ACTION."
 
 

•THINGS TO KNOW•
Community-wide leaf collection will begin November 2nd through December 1st, 2020.
Crews will be covering the entire city following a route; if you have leaves ready to be picked up at any point during this time frame, call the Public Property Office at 440-204-2550 with your address and we will schedule to have your leaves picked up within a week.  Please rake your leaves to the curb line but do not put them in the street!!

Yard waste collection will run through your last collection day in November.

Don't forget to vote! Election Day is Tuesday, November 3!
