PURSUANT to A.R.S. Section 38-431 .02, notice is hereby given to the Globe City Council and to the general public, that a Regular Meeting of the Globe City Council will be held on Tuesday, November 23, 2021, at 6:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, 150 N. Pine Street, Globe, and Gila County, Arizona.

The City of Globe Council may recess the public meeting and convene into Executive Session for the purpose of discussion or consultation for legal advice with the City Attorney regarding any item listed on this agenda pursuant to A.R.S. § 38-431.03 (A)(3) and (4). The Mayor reserves the right, with the consent of Council and according to City Code Section 2-4-8, to vary the order of the agenda.  Members of the City Council may attend either in person or by telephone conference call.  The agenda for this meeting is as follows:

2.   COMMUNITY CALL TO THE PUBLIC

Any citizen desiring to speak on a matter that IS NOT scheduled on this agenda may do so at this time. This is a time for the public to comment to members of the City Council explicitly not to members of staff.  Comments will be limited to three minutes per person and shall be addressed explicitly to the to the City Council and addressed to the City Council as a whole public body, and not to any individual member. Please complete a "Request to Speak Card", located with the Agendas at the rear of the Council Chambers and turn it in to the City Clerk prior to the beginning of the meeting. Issues raised shall be limited to those within the jurisdiction of the City Council. Pursuant to the Arizona Open Meeting Law, the City Council cannot discuss or act on items presented at this time. At the conclusion of the call to the public, individual City Council members may (1) respond to criticism made by those who have spoken, (2) ask staff to review a matter, and (3) ask that a matter be put on a future agenda.

A.   Presentation of the Fall 2021 Citizen's Academy Graduation.  Councilman Mariano Gonzalez will present diplomas to participants:  Jody Daggett, Patricia Daley, Tammy Guerara, Bryan Gunnoe, Samuel Kannegaard, Boady Kervin, Regina Ortega-Leonardi, Mary Lowery, Dylan Mojica, Tracy Quick, Sherry Rice, Nancy Rutherford and Special Participant Town of Miami Vice Mayor Dan Moat.    Presented
 
B.   The High Desert Humane Society will present an organizational update including possible partnerships with the Globe City Council.  (Cheryl Brazil) Bring Back
 
C.   Staff will present Council with a project and timeline update for the Community Center Pool Rehabilitation Project.  (Linda Oddonetto) Presented
 
D.   Staff will present Council with a presentation regarding the formal procurement bidding process and possible contract with Sunny Path Associates LLC to assist with procurement services.  (Jeannie Sgroi)  Bring Back
 
4.   CONSENT CALENDAR: Matters listed under the Consent Calendar are considered to be routine and will be enacted by one motion and one vote. Public Hearing items are designated with an asterisk (*). Prior to consideration of the Consent Agenda, the Mayor will ask whether any member of the public wishes to remove a Public Hearing item for separate consideration.
