Item Title: Consider Appointing Members to a Charter Review Committee

Summary of Request/Problem

At the direction of the City Council, a solicitation of interest was distributed for applicants to be appointed to a Charter Review Committee. Approximately 22 applications were received. Before submitting a proposed amendment to the City Charter to the voters, the Council must first convene a Charter Review Committee, composed of not less than nine residents of the City, to make recommendations to the Council on any such amendment. A Charter Review Committee must be established no later than the second regular meeting of the Council in the October preceding an election in the following May.

Appoint members to a Charter Review Committee.
