SUBJECT:
Request from Jasmine Wimes, 1012 N 22nd Street, Ft. Pierce, FL 34950 for an extension of 60 days to pay the reduced demolition lien of $1,250.00 and the reduced lot clearing lien of $70.53 against 514 N 26th Street, Ft. Pierce, FL 34950. On June 15, 2015 the City Commission approved reducing the liens and made payable in 90 days.
SUMMARY:
On August 14, 2015 received request for extension of time to pay the reduced liens totaling $1,320.53.  Ms. Wimes is requesting the City Commission to allow her an additional 60 days to pay this lien.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends granting Ms. Wimes the extension of time to pay the reduced lien.

This recommendation is based on:
  1. Ms. Wimes inherited this property.
  2. Ms. Wimes is a full time student and works part time.
  3. Ms. Wimes has kept the property up to code as of this date.
  4. It is taking longer than she expected for her school loan to be approved and granted.
ALTERNATIVES:
Deny request.
Determine alternative extension of time.
