Resolution 15-R13 - Transfer of Surplus Property
Resolution No. 15-R13 authorizing the Transfer of Surplus Property located at 903 S 3rd Street, between Georgia Avenue and Hayes Road.
The City of Fort Pierce issued Bid No. 2015-015 to solicit proposals for a portion of surplus property, acquired for but not utilized in the development of the main Police Station on South Third Street.
Artistry in Mosaics, Inc, responded to the bid opportunity, requesting approval of a proposal to acquire .18 acres of city owned land, subject to all of the terms and conditions of a Property Disposition and Development Agreement providing the completion of an economic development project and off-site improvements including but not limited to benches, landscaping, lighting, and a bicycle station at the City's future Memorial Park.
The proposed acquisition seeks to couple said land with current holdings, for expansion of their existing business.
The appraised market value of the subject property, sought for acquisition, is $20,000.
