Farmer's Market - Conditional Use w/ New Construction - 3503 S US Hwy 1
Conditional Use application submitted by Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services to construct a 2,409 sq. ft. metal, pre-engineered structure at 3503 S US Hwy 1 - State Farmer's Market.
Approval of Conditional Use with New Construction & Design Review
Postpone item until the January 20, 2015 meeting while staff works on a Design Review Appeal with the applicant.
Approval with the following conditions:
Exterior of structure must meet Design Review guidelines; unless their request for variance is approved by the Board of Adjustment
Implementation of shrubs/hedge along property line and area of work. Curbing should be provided to protect vegetation.
Pedestrian access way to be implemented from ROW side walk to front entrance of the structure once sidewalk is constructed by FDOT.
Re-stripe existing parking, delineating one (1) handicapped parking space. Number of existing parking spaces acceptable.
Approve with revised conditions; Denial
