SUBJECT:
CONTINUE A PUBLIC HEARING, PURSUANT TO THE REQUEST OF CALP, LLC, d/b/a SUDDENLINK COMMUNICATIONS ("CABLE OPERATOR"), FOR AN EXTENSION AND RENEWAL OF ITS RIGHT TO OPERATE A COMMUNITY ANTENNA TELEVISION SYSTEM WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF ENID, OKLAHOMA, PURSUANT TO SECTION 626 OF THE CABLE COMMUNICATIONS POLICY ACT OF 1984, AS AMENDED, WITH THE PURPOSE OF SUCH HEARING TO: (1) REVIEW THE PERFORMANCE OF THE CABLE OPERATOR UNDER THE LICENSE DURING THE CURRENT LICENSING TERM; (2) IDENTIFY THE CABLE RELATED COMMUNITY NEEDS AND INTERESTS; AND (3) HEAR FROM THE PUBLIC.  
BACKGROUND:
This public hearing is a continuation of the December 3, 2019 hearing to provide the public additional opportunities to make comments.The public comments received during the hearing in December and January will supplement the results of the Cable Satisfaction Survey that is available on the City website, various social media sites, and paper copies of the survey that are available at City Hall and the Public Library. After the public is finnished speaking Mr. Kennedy will provide an analysis of the Cable Operator's performance, based upon the FCC customer service standards and the City's franchise requirements. Suddenlink representatives will be present to speak with residents after the meeting
